About Love & Hip Hop Atlanta
This spinoff of Love & Hip Hop follows the stories of a group of women connected to the music industry through their significant others, or striving to develop their own music careers. The cast includes Mimi Faust and Joseline Hernandez, who are both romantically linked to the same successful and manipulative producer, Stevie J. Erica Dixon and Shay Johnson also find themselves in a romantic triangle with unfaithful rapper Lil Scrappy. Complicating matters between them all is Scrappy’s domineering and adoring mother, Momma Dee. Rasheeda, a rapper long struggling to break into mainstream focus, navigates the ups and downs of being married to her manager, Kirk Frost. K.Michelle, an R&B singer with an often volatile personality, attempts to pick up the pieces of her earlier career and push forward with the new celebrity status the reality show affords her. Also on the cast are the rapper Karlie Redd and former Source owner Benzino.
In the second season, co-parents DJ Babey Drew and DJ Traci Steele come into conflict with one another as they try being business partners despite their tumultuous history.
